Must have completed Registered Managers Award or Diploma in Management A sound knowledge of National Care Standards and Health and Safety Legislation A good understanding of CSCI. The ability to effectively communicate, manage time and good interpersonal skills will all be necessary. A committed and flexible individual with a warm and friendly personality Duties: To provide professional management of care service in order to ensure the staff team are able to deliver quality care to service users. Provide a high standard of care to the residents of the home, ensuring the health and welfare of the residents. Organise and manage day-to-day operations, along with a proactive approach to maintaining standards and occupancy levels. Management of a full team of staff, including rota preparation, carrying out staff appraisals. To resource, recruit and retain appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to ensure the smooth running of the home. Ensure that the home meets the statutory training requirements.
