Based in Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire.
You will be working for an international market leader in smart modern offices. You will be responsible to the Supply Chain Manager in this essentially internal focused role dealing with escalated customer complaints. This is a very responsible role where the speed of resolving these issues is paramount as customers could be hit with penalty claims of thousands of pounds a day. The fault may lie with the customer, his client, our supplier or another department within the company so this person will be helping internal personnel, resolving the situation and trying to calm irate customers. In addition you will be analysing data and order bank and stock figures to determine possible issues before they arise.
To do this you will need to be fluent in German and English, have office experience dealing with complaints, be assertive, persuasive, calm under pressure, logical thinking, organised, tenacious, flexible and commercially astute. You must be able to deal with sensitive situations knowing when to push, back off, when to talk and when to listen. You will need to assume nothing and double check everything!
The successful candidate might well come from a production planning background within a fast paced high risk industry ie automotive. |
