Job Description:
Based in Radlett, Hertfordshire, you will be working for a company who sells and markets high quality electronic components and parts. You will be responsible to the Material Manager, ensuring appropriate freight services and costings used, establish and control supplier accounts, liaise with distribution, production and commercial staff, reduce material costs, day-to-day purchasing activities, control of chasing goods, and ensure supplies are reached on-time. To do this you will need to have interest and proven experience of material control and purchasing, experience in buying competitively electrical and electromechanical components, experience with Syspro and MS Office, can negotiate, organisation skills, have an eye for detail, numerical numeracy and have a confident/pleasant telephone manner. A European language a plus!!
