We are seeking an Activities Manager to work within a prestigious Nursing and Residential home that provides supportive living, respite care, and nursing to older adults, based in Altrincham, Cheshire. You will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme, which involves internal and external communication about activities focused care programming.
The post holder will assess resident interests and will plan and manage resources to aid recruitment, training and placement of volunteers.
Successful applicants must have working experience in long term care or assisted living and will have past involvement with volunteerism through participation and leadership. You must have excellent communication skills and will be able to lead and motivate volunteers and team members to become involved in social events.
